A Celebration of Sustainability
The event featured a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, inspiring speeches from key figures, and an in-depth showcase of our sustainability initiatives. A highlight was our recently installed 99.8kW Photo Voltaic (PV) solar panel system, which generates over 141,000 kWh of clean energy annually, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and saving $21,000 per annum based on the current electricity bill.
Attendees also learned about our new energy-efficient chiller, which delivers more than 50% energy savings, resulting in an annual cost reduction of $33,000. These initiatives reinforce our commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
The two projects were financed by Kingswood Sports Club, which invested $106,700, and a Federal small-scale technology certificate of $43k from the Clean Energy Regulator. The works will significantly reduce carbon emissions, saving an estimated 120.4 tonnes per year.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on this successful event, we celebrate yet another significant milestone for Easts Group – reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and paving the way for future opportunities to deliver even more impactful and environmentally responsible projects.
