ROOSTERS PLAYERS CHECK OUT NEW LOOK EASTS

Members and guests were thrilled to see the Sydney Roosters NRL team and staff at easts today when they stopped in for lunch at Olive & Oak.

It was the first opportunity for the players and staff to see the redeveloped venue since the final stage opened in early May. Sydney Roosters Directors joined the team for a casual lunch ahead of their clash with the Canberra Raiders at the Central Coast.

Players were impressed by the changes and particularly excited to see the new Artie’s sports bar before tasting the new menu in Olive & Oak.

The team were stunned by the redevelopment, remarking on the positive changes throughout the entire venue.

“It’s changed so much since the last time we were here. You notice the changes as soon as you walk through reception; it’s modern and really bright,” said Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

“We had a team lunch at Olive & Oak and the food was it was amazing. I know I’ll definitely be back, I actually forgot we were sitting inside a club.”

The players also took time to head into Artie’s and view the memorabilia and photographs of Roosters Legend, Arthur Beetson.

“Arthur Beetson is a legend of not only our Club but also the game of rugby league, and Artie’s is an awesome tribute to him. I can see it being a popular space on game days, for sure.”

The Sydney Roosters players will be back at easts on several occasions over the coming months, the first of which will see some injured NRL players chatting live with Bush & Silky from Roosters Radio from 2pm on Saturday 12 June ahead of the Titans v Roosters clash.
